The flat roofed areas over the center section permits the interior mezzanines to have natural light and ventilation from the accent windows. Deep stepped overhangs protect walls and windows from sun and rain. Stack bond concrete block was selected for walls with smooth stucco defines the masses. A natural fusion of Hawaiian and modern would describe this project.
